Thank you for your interest in learning more about music. I have 5 years of teaching/ tutoring experience and I teach at 3 various academy locations across Greater Vancouver plus my private students. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music from an accredited university. I teach tenor, alto saxophones, clarinet, and flute. For more info on me you can visit my webpage at http://www.myspace.com/robi_v.
I teach in-home lessons which means that I will come to your house if it is in the Greater Vancouver area. I do not have my own studio or place to conduct the lessons. I am faily flexible during the day time and after school hours so please let me know what works best for you and I will do the same. You will need your own instrument. Rentals are relatively inexpensive given the price of buying an instrument. I can help you find your instrument of choice to buy or rent if you need one.
I have some basic questions for you: What kind of instrument would you like to play? How much experience playing and reading music do you have? Have you ever played music before?
My students range in age from 9 years old to 60 years old so there is no age limit to learning a new instrument. I'm pretty easy going and my lessons are fun.
